It is supposed to be located off Hwy 4, Alhambra Valley Road exit, away from John Muir's house. Veer right when the road splits. Then turn left onto Strentzel Lane, a small unpaved residential driveway. I was unable to locate it exactly, it may reside in a backyard. Private Family Plot Active from 1851-1947
This is a
low quality (too much light) picture of a statue of noted conservationist,
John Muir, very close to the location of John Muir's grave.
According to Darrell Handy, the cemetery is now owned by the National Park Service & will soon be open to the public.
